When parents and schools work together, children and young people are more likely to build good relationships and do better at school. School attendance rates are higher, and students are more likely to graduate and enter tertiary education.

Showing children that education is important, building their confidence, and connecting with their school helps to shape their learning and wellbeing.

Communication

ELECTRONIC NOTICEBOARD
Our school has an electronic noticeboard at the entrance to our school (in the pick-up/drop-off loop). This will be updated daily and will be used to communicate information to our parents and the wider community.

Occasionally, there will also be the need to communicate with parents via SMS message. It is vital that you advise the office immediately, if your contact details change (phone or email).


PARENT INFORMATION NIGHTS
A Parent Information Night is offered at the commencement of each year. This provides an opportunity for teachers to explain their class’s teaching and learning programs, routines and expectations for student learning and behaviour. Other general information nights will be held throughout the year to keep parents informed as required.


WEBSITE
This website will continue to be developed over time. New features and items will be added throughout the year.


SCHOOL APP
Our School App is designed as a 'Parents Only' App. Our School App is a great way to communicate between school and parents. This app will allow you to access daily notices, calendar events, Newsletters, Parent Lounge and much more.

Parent Community Group

The Parent Community Group is an important organisation that provides parents with the opportunity to become involved with daily school life, as well as special events and activities. All parents are invited to be involved in our school community in some way throughout the year, so please feel welcome and make the effort to become involved!

Parent Community Meetings will be advertised in School Calendar and on the School App.
